We have 2 workers who support children aged 5 to 12 across Bedfordshire. We work with children and young people who are affected by carer’s, parent’s or anyone else drug or alcohol use.

Our children’s workers help to keep children safe by teaching protective behaviours, building new coping strategies, and building up self esteem and confidence. They also help children develop more positive relationships with their families and friends.

They give children the time and space to explore events and experiences that have troubled or confused them. With support children can feel free to express difficult feelings such as anger and upset and begin to make sense of their experiences in their as a result of their parents or carers drug or alcohol use. This can open the way to the bond between the parent and child to be strengthened.

Please call us for more information, if your concerned about someone, or you would like advice. We can come and meet you in venue’s which are convenient to you, for example: at home, or at school or at children’s centres.
