A placement at CAN offers a supportive operational environment working with clients affected by the use of alcohol, drugs or homelessness alongside the guidance and supervision of experienced staff.

We can

• Provide Social Work Practice Teachers in Northamptonshire.
• Offer appropriate levels of supervision.
• Offer 1:1 client contact, telephone contact, triage assessment, complex assessment, short and medium term counselling and group work.
• Process CRB checks but not cover the cost.

We cannot

• Reimburse travel, training or other expenses.
• Guarantee use of raw material without client consent.
• Provide purely observational placements.

We expect

• Students to comply with CAN’s Policies and Procedures.
• Confirmation of funding before placement commences.
