Course Length: One Day

Aims:

To provide an overview of the subject and an opportunity to explore and develop strategies for working with this client group.

Following completion of this course participants will:

• Understand the effects of crack cocaine and the associated risk factors
• Have examined the key factors to consider when assessing crack and cocaine users
• Explored the different stages of the crack cocaine cycle
• Demonstrated an understanding of the range of therapeutic interventions applicable at different stages of the crack cocaine cycle
