CAN Young Peoples’ Team are looking to recruit Peer Mentors to help us support young people who have previously accessed our service. Full training will be given and transport and refreshments will be provided.

Schilthorn Mountain, Switzerland

£950 minimum sponsorship

This is a fantastic and unique trek, amongst great company, through one of the most breathtaking landscapes on earth to the summit of the Schilthorn Mountain (as seen in a James Bond film).

The trek itself is started and completed in a day, however the trip consists of travel time and a training walk the day before up to Murren, to get you ready.

(NB. this is a walk, not a ‘climb’-no climbing skills are necessary, only a good basic fitness level)

How and who can take part?

• You can join in as an individual or as part of a group.
• The minimum sponsorship required this year is £950, due to rises in costs associated to travel and exchange. We can help you with ideas about how to fundraise, or arrange events.
• You will need to ensure that you are physically fit for the challenge, so join in our training walks carried out throughout the run up to the challenge. Details will be provided upon registration. These are an excellent opportunity to meet fellow trekkers, make new friends and maybe help one another too.
