The Mynx Soul Band have kindly agreed to play for us again in two gigs for CAN in Bedford and Northampton.
Last year they managed to raise over £700 on a Thursday evening @ The Picturedrome in August

... Following the retirement of Linda Juland as CAN Chief Executive, we are pleased to announce that our new Chief Executive, James Watkins, has now joined CAN.
James said; ‘CAN is an important player in the substance misuse field with over 40 years experience of delivering high quality services. This is an exciting time to be involved with CAN and I am privileged to have to opportunity to lead the Charity into its next phase.’
James has spent over 20 years as a healthcare leader with a ... Shortly before Christmas, CAN launched its first Staff Fundraising Challenge. We encouraged staff across our various services to come up with fun, engaging fundraising activities to raise much needed funds for CAN. The response has, so far, been fantastic.
We have heard of some fantastic activities including sponsored head shaves, cupcake sales, market stalls, sponsored diets and many more. Many staff have really taken this on board and are talking about repeating activities to raise ... CAN are delighted to announce that, with the ongoing funding support from Bedford Borough Council and Central Bedfordshire Council, we are continuing to deliver expert services to the young people and families of Bedfordshire effected by alcohol and/or drug misuse.
The continuation of this service allows CAN to engage with a wide range of partners including schools, youth clubs and community groups, to ensure that we raise awareness as to the hazards of alcohol or drug use for young ...
